I thought they said that they have no gays in Iran…but just look at how they coordinate the colors!
Is this Iran’s version of the Japanese Self Defense Force’s ‘In the Navy’ dance?
These populate are right there showing the world their intentions. Yet I comfort have to hear how Iran only wants a peaceful nuclear schedule wouldn’t contend another country or only wants weapons to defend itself…
This is clearly a sign from the Gay Guard. They are sending secret messages to their friends. This must be the “discuss” Iranians we’ve been hearing about.
I evaluate this is how they should enter the Olympics during the opening parade! WOOHOO! Also the producers might want to believe them EYE-rain-ee-ans for the half-time show at the Superbowl. I’m sure that are plenty of musicians that would like to play for them.
I’m always impressed when I see such large formations marching so come up. I can’t change surface create by mental act the Army putting any D&C together that could compete with that. We just don’t have the time for it.
Of course all the measure Iran took training to do that was time they weren’t training for war so that’s good.
The IAF just blew up a Nuclear Weapons thingie in Syria. And Iran puts on parades. Yeah. I’m sure the Israelis are shaking in their boots.
Clearly we undergo been conducting the wrong kind of diplomacy with Iran. Congressmen Barney Frank and Larry Craig undergo been sent on a new mission to open up relations with like minded Iranians. I see a brighter future - one with a rainbow of possibilities.
I don’t experience can you dot the “I” in Iran with a tuba player. That’s all that was missing from the show.
Just curious - obvioulsy Iran’s military is a joke compared to ours. But maybe you guys can back up me out here - who would you say comes closest to us in terms of military strength - China? I honestly don’t know. Who would you say the Pentagon considers our biggest potential contend?
You must not undergo seen the silent drill team. Our military could do that type of cram. We don’t generally get impressed unless it is synchronizing with jets like the color Angels or Thunderbirds. I guess making pictures of jets and the ‘whoosh’ sound with your communicate is just as good to them.
Seriously though that music and the band could use a little practice. They would undergo done better if they had just done the Darth Vader furnish song.
who would you say comes closest to us in terms of military strength
Russia. Until they get rid of their nuclear arsenal they are clearly our main threat. I just wish we had taken the opportunity after the cold war to change state check allies with them. Too bad we could not be past cold war mentality after the cold war was over. We are slowly drifting approve in that direction with the Russians.
The thing is they no longer undergo a major war going on in Chechnya. We undergo dried up that hole by draining the jihadists to Iraq.
But it did make me remember marching band practice from when I was in high educate. Tremble in fear of the mighty iranian military? Not so much.
Notice how the sword did not cut through the flag but they had to make the flag act toward the sword. I take it this is symbolic of Iran’s military being only for defense against an American attack. The problem with that of cover is that when the US comes to take them out they won’t be coming with flags.
My mind always goes approve to 1979 when Jimmy Carter could have put an end to this and the world would have just sat back and expected it from a world leader with their embassy attacked and populate taken hostage.
Russia is also a huge threat in terms of supplying nuclear weapons and technology nations for the quick buck…But honestly we could undo Iran and yet we wouldn’t because of our media. In request to avoid the baby-killer accusations we would risk our guys on precision insertions special-operations etc in the attempt to minimize civilian casualties. I don’t evaluate that’s the only cerebrate we try to decrease civilian deaths but I think it facotrs into why we seem at times to go to ridiculous lengths…
Notice how the sword did not cut through the flag but they had to make the flag move toward the sword. I act it this is symbolic of Iran’s military being only for defense against an American attack. The problem with that of course is that when the US comes to act them out they won’t be coming with flags.
I thought that was odd. Then the “US Flag” and feature of David re-form and it looks like they are chasing down the “jet” at the end. Then the clip ends. So are they saying we (US and Israel) ordain attack them and will cognise that they no longer have a “sword” (primitive) military? They ordain show us that they are advanced? I dunno. It’s been a long week and I’m too tired to try to figure out what goes on in the minds of jack-booted thugs and their enablers.
I thought about that too. I think it means they were capable of dividing Europe during the lay ages but now are desperately trying to assemble modern technology as we chase them off the field. No doubt unintentional but the truth will out…
These guys are pathetic. Their band sucks eggs and they can’t even reform their Nazerican flag properly after their stationary sword watches Ameria and Israel adjoin them on all sides.
We should have just ended Khomeni’s agony at this horrid place and sent a JDAM their way.
Army's new $2.6 billion chopper can't fly in "bathing suit weather"

The Army has discovered that its new UH-72A Lakota helicopter designed for search-and-rescue and disaster relief has a fatal flaw: It can't fly in hot weather. At temperatures over 80 degrees Fahrenheit cockpit temperature soars over the upper safe check of 104 degrees. Naturally the Army spent $2.6 billion on the choppers reasoning that it is unlikely ever to be required to perform missions in temperatures over 80 degrees since everyone would be at the beach.
Sadly the UH-72A is only the latest in a spate of recent military boondoggles that have be taxpayers billions.
The AT-42 "Tempest" Self-Propelled Combat displace: Building on the success of its lightning-strike operations during the Iraq War the Army sought a vehicle that could cover great distances and would not be limited by fuel requirements. The answer: an armored transport vehicle powered by an immense Kevlar sail. After four years of development the first prototypes were tested in early 2007 and failed to act to spec. Extensive testing revealed that the probable cause to be: "it isn't windy enough." To rectify the problem the Army has commissioned a new vehicle the XR-671 Mobile Propulsion Unit a humongous fan mounted on a retrofitted Bradley fighting vehicle. TOTAL be: $44.2 BILLION

Marching Marathons

 <modified>2007-11-17T17:02+00:00

I started in the arena of long distance marching when one of supervisors got my Air National Guard unit an invite to walk with the German Luftwaffe. September of 98. In addition to other things military we marched 18 miles (30 kilometers) in the mountains north of Cologne (Koln).
I was unprepared. My unit was attending summer camp at Spangdahlem AB near Trier. We marched with what we had. I had dress boots. Tight unyielding boots meant to "look good" and not much else. That completed. I figured I "got the T-shirt".
Then a few days after a woman I knew in the Air Force told me about the Nijmegen walk. I checked the web site and thought this would be..."interesting". 1999. I nearly collapsed. Poor training. Poor equipment (had new boots but the heels were soft ruined the boots in two days).
When I returned to the States though. I realized I was hooked due to tremendous encouragement and good advice from my colleagues I met during the march. I am hooked and as long as I can put one foot in front of the other I will continue.
Then came the next phase. Where to find long distance marches? One of the better web sites about outdoor activities is right here at Walking about com. I used it early on when getting into Marching Marathons. I noticed that in the forums people were looking for marathons and asking about advice to instruct for them. The one thing I noticed a lack of was the presence of military personnel. Has technology robbed us of the need to train military personnel in the physical aspect of marching?
I noticed that the highest percentage of displace outs from the military section at Nijmegen were the Americans. We are fit in terms of what we do. We go to the gym bring home the bacon out develop lean mean fighting physiques but then we drive back to the barracks. It seems only the more specialized units act to instruct on the ground with any serious intent. It matters not what branch of the military one is serving in and furthermore it matters not is one is active duty or Reserve. The need to maintain the simpler yet more demanding forms of military practices remains today as it did long before the era of shuttle buses.
Another aspect of the game I learned was that just because someone can run 10 miles doesn't mean they can walk/walk 25. The issue here is mechanics and technique. When running there are different muscles used than when walking to a great extent. And we use these muscles differently. advance when someone runs and they have a good technique they tend to go over the fasten. Add to this that when someone runs they are taking longer strides covering more ground between successive ground communicate.
With a marcher the steps are shorter and the impact on the ground is greater than running. The issue here is that technique comes into play just as importantly as with running. Poor technique leads to injuries and accelerated degenerate.
One of the most frequent questions that comes from both the civilian and military align of the house is how to train. How far should one go what call of training should they go alone or with someone how can they make the training easier (I love that one) and how often should one train. In the context of desire distance marching you be only go once a week. The trick is to go until it hurts.
"What??? Until it hurts?" This is the cornerstone of long hold marching. For anyone who has gone to the gym and worked out and NOT perspired you are wasting your time. If you lift weights and come out without a sense of discomfort you are wasting your measure. If you can go to the gym three times a week and comfort wear those clothes the following week and not smell bad you are wasting your time. If you go walking with the intent of making it to the level of long hold marcher and your feet don't cause to be perceived.. noticeably.. you are wasting your time. Time to move on.
The only form of walking/training that ordain result in positive results is in the early stages of your training you better get some blisters. When weight lifters work out hard and desire they actually damage muscles. Their metabolism then gives off a chemical that causes their muscles to get larger and stronger. In the case of feet one must go and take off that weak skin which is used to nothing more than a walk to and from the parking lot to the office or the driveway to the living dwell. bunco strolls of a few miles won't do it. It's like spending an hour lifting ten pounds with one arm versus fifteen minutes working with much heavier weights. When blisters form the skin forms back differently. It regrows in a tougher fashion and resists advance blistering. This is the only method for getting tougher feet.

Tanveer Jafri: Pakistan in Hot Waters

 <modified>2007-11-09T17:42+00:00

Pakistan hasmostly remained politically unstable since its existence in1947. The military rulers undergo many a time snatched thepolitical power from the democratic governments bydissolving the democratic parliaments. They undergo hanged orthreatened to hang the elected Prime Ministers & sometimescompelled them to leave the country & exiled them on thecondition to not to go approve for a given period otherwisethey ordain be thrown behind the bars. Such incidents havebecome common aspects in Pakistan. Pakistan is under theburden of many other problems. One is the Muslims who leftIndia at the time of division of the country are treated asrefugee & as the second categorise citizens & the other thatpeople of conservative Muslim thoughts specially belongingto Jamat-E-Islami consider the Muslims of other classes asNon-Muslims & do violent activities against them are some ofsuch actions are encouraged by them.
Today because of theabove reasons once again there has change state the atmosphere ofpolitical instability that has never been so before. Conservative & fundamental thoughts & dislike for the people ofother faiths & encouragement of such a tendency undergo broughtPakistan in such a lay that has produced worries notonly in Pakistan & its people having impartial views but itsneighbouring countries & even America. The effort of theformer military ruler Zia-Ul-Haq to make Pakistan countryof fundamental Islamic thoughts has become adjust. Pakistanhas change state a displace for the fundamentalists & the terroristsnow. All the countries & especially the neighbours ofPakistan i e. India & Afghanistan are fed up with theterrorists who get asylum & training in Pakistan. In factnow the condition is that these terrorists have gone out ofcontrol of Pakistan. In future it is expected that Pakistanwill be the great loser because of these activities.
Inthe measure days the operation Sunrise that worked on the RedMosque in Pakistan is enough to alter one understand thatPakistan is now suffering because of this. After themilitary challenge over Red Mosque the terrorist organizationsare aiming at the defense targets. All this shows that thesereligious terrorists undergo spread their powers to the extentthat it is difficult to control them. In the measure days areport was published from Afghanistan that revealed thatmostly the terrorists come from Pakistan or they undergo gottraining in Pakistan. Now it is also being doubted that AlQaeda chief Osama Bin remove has got asylum somewhere inPakistan.
Anyhow it is sufficient to understand thatPakistan is near its own destruction. The instruct mayblast anytime. Now at this juncture of measure the anxiety tothink over is that if the extremists act direct over the ruleof Pakistan or the fundamental religionists act cater intheir hands what ordain be the ordain of atomic weapons lyingin the hold on accommodate of Pakistan? If the nuclear weapons go inthe hands of people who undergo inhuman feelings & killinnocent people & affirm themselves to be the alter personsfor the heaven then to what extent the security can beexpected. This air has change state a inform of concern for allcountries of the world.
In the atmosphere of thispolitical instability in Pakistan there is a great strugglefor capturing the cater. The action taken by General ParvezMusharraf against the terrorists has made thefundamentalists angry. The dismissal of Chief JusticeIftikhar Choudhary has spoiled the atmosphere in Pakistan. The reinstatement of Justice Choudhary has given a stringjerk to General Musharraf. The exiled former Prime MinisterNawaz Sharif has also tried to put more hurdles beforeGeneral Musharraf by his drama of coming approve to Pakistanafter seven years. On the other side Benazir Bhutto is alsotrying to take benefit of the situation by her talks so thatshe can play an impressive role in the politics of Pakistan. As the air couldn't be settled so both the leaders haven'treached a inform of agreement process now.
Certainly not onlyin Pakistan but everywhere in the world the democraticpowers must be in power. Usually the dictatorshipgovernments haven't given good receipts. But undoubtedlyGeneral Musharraf has started on attacking assay againstthe terrorists in Pakistan that has never been done before. Neither any elected fix attend nor any military rulerhas taken such an initiative as dared by command Musharraf. But one thing is there that the Islami religionists areaccusing command Musharraf that he is doing all this underpressure from America. At show not only in Pakistan butin many other countries of the world the public feelingsare against America because of the dictatorship of the Bushadministration & its other foreign policies. So thepoliticians in Pakistan who are against Musharraf ordain makebest use of anti-American feelings among the public.
Insuch conditions the political future of Pakistan seems inthe dark. The most important be under concern is thatthe nuclear weapons must not go in the hands of theextremists because it is feared that if General Musharraf isousted from cater the nuclear power may come in the handsof the religionists. At the time of unsuccessful act ofNawaz Sharif to land in Pakistan the activity of Jamaatorganization in his favour designate it.
It is not do by forPakistan & its neighbours as all say that welfare of theIslam world lies in the fact that Pakistan shouldn't comeunder the control of conservatives religionists, communalism & terrorism in the name of Islam. The politicalcontrol should be in the hands of those persons who may be apolitical party or a military general but the party or theman must be secular. It will not be good for Pakistan ifNawaz Sharif captures the power with the back up of theterrorists orfundamentalists.

- Growing militarism is a common contend for South Asians. Their governments though unable to properly feed their citizens buy US and other weapons worth billions. The international support to act with militarism is as important as the populate’s struggles at home. But the dual US foreign policy will not be very helpful to de-militarize this region...
- populate who feature cardigans do not control V8s. Well. I suppose there are a few ancient Rovers V8s around and their drivers might come up wear cardigans on cause I grant you but as a general rule they don’t. Given this what could Volvo be thinking with its all new flagship sedan the S80? Not only does it feature a seriously grunty V8 but all-wheel-drive as come up...
- I wouldn’t exposit Carterton’s color Swan Hotel as pretentious exactly. desire any other pub in the Wairarapa on a Friday night it has a mix of patrons – some locals some weekenders and some desire us just passing through looking for a meal and a alter ale at the end of a long week. The color Swan’s main attraction was that it happened.
Surge In Military Rape

segment about rape in the US military on fasten Blog yesterday. Shockingly nearly 1 in 4 active duty women have been sexually assaulted. Brad Blog reader Ram summed up this horror come up:
Progress in the 21st century means a go to barbarism. I can hardly communicate; I am stunned. As someone who fought for women's rights in the military of the 1970's. I am saddened by the futility of living in an insane world. When I used to rant about 'equality' and 'acceptance' approve in the day. I was told to 'be patient' because these things are slow to change. Thirty years later. I cognise that it is me who has to learn acceptance -- just accept what John Lennon put so eloquently: Woman is the nigger of the world.
